Goodreads Summary:
I met Fred first. Fred: Hot. Enigmatic. Alex’s first friend in her lonely new town. Maybe her first…everything.
I met Adina the following Monday.
Adina: Fred’s twin sister. Cold. Troubled. Trouble.
I kissed him.
She pressed her mouth to my mouth.
People warn Alex to steer clear of the twins, but Alex is drawn to them. She wants to be part of their crazy world…no matter the consequences.

Weird. Screwed up.  Unbelievable.

Those are words that come to mind when I think of this book.  Alex has moved to a new town with her mother after her father had an affair.  She tries to meet new people, and her first new friend is Fred.  She thinks Fred is a good looking guy and kind of wants to be more than friends.  Then, Alex meets Adina, Fred's twin sister.  She's kind of crazy.  It almost seems as though Adina has a thing for her brother.  Like she doesn't want him to have anyone but her.  She might do anything to make it stay that way too.

This book was more than just a little messed up.  I couldn't imagine being Alex, but she certainly doesn't seem to listen to anyone.  It's like she thinks she has it all figured out, but really she probably should have listened when people told her Fred and Adina were different and odd.   Alex just didn't realized how different they were.  Adina is psychotic.  Plain and simple, she's crazy.  She needs a lot of mental help, but Alex and Fred don't really see it at first.  They almost prefer to think she's just overprotective.

Overall, I enjoyed reading the psychotic mess, but I kept wanting to yell at Alex to just leave the twins be and stop trying to get involved! She should have turned back and walked the other way many times, but it was like she couldn't.  I don't even know what else to say without giving away the entire book.  The only thing I can say is if you're looking for a strange read with some psychotic  tendencies, then pick up this book! Check out the weird love triangle that seems to be in here.
