Character Envy: If you could be one character from a book, who would you choose & why?

Gosh...one character from a book?!  There are so many amazing characters in the books I've read, especially this year.  If I have to choose only one, I would have to say...

Rose Hathaway (Vampire Academy Series)

Rose is an amazing character.  She looks out for Lissa more than she looks out for herself, but she is concerned with making sure everyone is safe.  She tries to find solutions to everyone's problems and uses her strengths for good rather than evil.  I think Rose is selfless, smart and strong, but she certainly has her annoying tendencies.  I guess Rose would be my overall pick.  Again, I could go on and on and on about the amazing female leads in the books I've read, but I won't.  I'll stick with Rose :)
