In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren that I decided to partake in. This is my 5th week participating and I have some sad yet happy news all at the same time.
First of all, I'll start with my library books! I got three books from the library I've been waiting for...
Bumped (Bumped #1) by Megan McCafferty
The She by Carol Plum-Ucci
The Lying Game (The Lying Game #1) by Sara Shepard
Okay...now, on to the exciting yet sad part. An independent bookstore near me is closing (which is sad), but they now had 60% off all original prices...so....I bought a TON of new books because they were so cheap! Here we go with the pictures...
Found (The Missing #1) by Margaret Peterson Haddix
Crank (Crank #1) by Ellen Hopkins (this one was actually from my sister!)
Hold Still by Nina LaCour
Cracked Up to Be by Courtney Summers
This sounded like an interesting series, so I had to give it a shot since the bookstore had the first three...
Strange Angels (Strange Angels #1) by Lili St. Crow
Betrayals (Strange Angels #2) by Lili St. Crow
Jealousy (Strange Angels #3) by Lili St. Crow
This is another series that sounded interesting, and for the price I couldn't pass it up!
The Battle of Jericho (Jericho #1) by Sharon M. Draper
November Blues (Jericho #2) by Sharon M. Draper
Just Another Hero (Jericho #3) by Sharon M. Draper
AND finally...the last four books I picked up at the bookstore this week!
Red Moon Rising by Peter Moore
Blood Red Road (Dustlands #1) by Moira Young
The Host (The Host #1) by Stephenie Meyer
This World We Live In (Last Survivors #3) by Susan Beth Pfeffefer (this one I messed up on...I didn't think it was a series when I skimmed the back. Guess I'll have to pick up #1 & 2 now!)
Phew...there's the summary of what I picked up this week! Although it is so sad to see an Independent bookstore close, especially one that has been around in the community for 20 years and specializes in children and YA books, it was also great to pick up some books at an awesome price. I support my independent bookstores as much as possible and I think they're an important part of our communities. But enough of my ranting!
What was in your mailbox this week?!

There's so much hype about Blood Red Road, I can't wait to get my hands on my own copy to see what it's all about.
Also I really enjoyed The Lying Game, so I'm really happy the second book's coming out soon, Never Would I Ever.
Awesome books, I hope you enjoy them(:

Love Fantasy's Mailbox
Great set! I loved The Host. A warning - it takes a long time to get into, but it get great after awhile. The Lying Game was fun too.

That's to bad about the bookstore. That makes me really sad.
I'm curious about what you'll think of Bumped, it was an interesting read.
Check out my IMM for this week--> http://unautrehistoire.blogspot.com/2011/07/in-my-mailbox-3.html
Happy Reading!
Thanks for all the comments! I can't wait to get started. I'll be sure to check out everyone's IMM :)
@Sara - I'm so sad the bookstore is leaving. We don't have many independent bookstores left in my area. It is basically down to 2 independents and B&N.
Wow, you have a nice stack of books this week in your mailbox. I really want to read Bumped, it looks like such a great book.
Happy Reading,

Great Mailbox. I got Cracked up to be, and I'm currently reading it. It was really good.
Happy Reading!

@Kristin - Bumped was good, but it took a little while to accept the whole idea of teenagers being excited to have children at such a young age.
@A Beautiful Madness- I'll have to grab that one to read soon! Of course, library books always come first :)
