Book Blogger Pride: What do you take pride in when it comes to blogging?
There are so many things that I take pride in when it comes to blogging. I think it is amazing that I have been consistently blogging for a little over a year. That is an accomplishment in itself. I, just as any other blogger, have a life outside of blogging. I'm working full-time and considering starting classes towards my MBA again. That makes for one busy time, but I always find time to sneak in some blogging.
I also think it's great what type of book blogging community there is! I have connected with so many awesome bloggers over this past year and I can't say enough good things about them. The community really embraces people and they're all eager to help when you need it.
I was so excited to receive my first ARC from a publisher. For those of you who have been blogging forever this may not seem that awesome, but for me...I was more than a little excited. I love to read, I use my library a lot, and I purchase books a lot, but to see that a publisher took notice of this tiny book blog, well....that was exciting.
I love my awesome followers and fans. I think they're all amazing and I try to interact with them as much as possible. They are the reason I continue to do the blog. Knowing that my review of a book may help them choose to pick it up is a great feeling. Of course, I still stick true to the fact that this blog started to keep track of my own reviews and help me remember all the books I read and a little about them.
Anyway, I guess I take pride in all of my book blogging accomplishments, whether big or small. Most of my accomplishments right now are small, but they mean something to me and keep me going. One thing I have yet to do is go to a book signing. *Hopefully* I will make it to one in April (I'm pretty excited for it). Right now, things in life may be changing so I'm not sure if I will be able to go or not (it's a 4.5 hour drive away!).

You should definitely go to a book signing. I went to one once and had a great time. I also was excited to receive my first ARC this week. especially since it was a book i really wanted.
