A Wedding = Lovey Dovey Books!

My amazing, talented, and beautiful 20 year old niece is getting married tomorrow.  Her and her fiance have been together for a couple of years, and have decided to tie the knot.  Anyway, since I'm not big into spooky, scary reads and that seems to be what features are about this week, I've decided to instead give you a list of some lovey dovey YA books that I fell in love with myself in honor of the wedding!   The Summer I turned Pretty (Summer #1) by Jenny Han

Goodreads Summary:
Belly measures her life in summers.  Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August.  Winters are simply a time to count the weeks until the next summer, a place away from the beach house, away from Susannah, and most importantly, away from Jeremiah and Conrad.  They are the boys that Belly has known since her very first summer-- they have been her brother figures, her crushes, and everything in between.  But one summer, one terrible and wonderful summer, the more everything changes, the more it all ends up just the way it should have been all along.

Goodreads Summary:
In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts.  The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the Games.  But Katniss has been close to dead before-and survival, for her, is second nature.  Without really meaning to, she becomes a contender.  But if she is to win, she will have to start making choices that will weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy #1) by Richelle Mead

Goodreads Summary:
St. Vladimir's Academy isn't just any boarding school - it's a hidden place where vampires are educated in the ways of magic and half-human teens train to protect them.  Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, a bodyguard for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess.  They've been on the run, but now they're being dragged back to St. Vladimir's - the very place where they're most in danger...
Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy's ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals.  But they must be careful lest the Strigoi - the world's fiercest and most dangerous vampires - make Lissa one of them forever.

Goodreads Summary:
Grace and Sam share a kinship so close they could be lovers or siblings.  But they also share a problem.  When the temperature slips towards freezing, Sam reverts to his wolf identity and must retreat into the woods to protect his pack.  He worries that eventually his human side will fade away and he will be left howling alone at the lonely moon.  A stirring supernatural teen romance.

Are there any books that you love the romantic aspect of?  Let me know in the comments!  There are some that I've heard have great love triangles and such, but I haven't read them so I couldn't include them in my list.
