This Friday's Question:
Reading Challenges: Did you sign up for any this year? How has your progression been?
The only reading challenge I signed up for this year was the 2011 Reading Challenge on Goodreads that challenged you to read a certain number of books in a year. Of course, you set the number.
My original number for this challenge, based on how many books I read last year, was 125. Well, I hit that goal exactly at the halfway point of the year. I finally decided to up the number to 175. Yup, I'm an underachiever. Why should I say 200? or 250? if 175 is more attainable.
I like to challenge myself, but I admit that I also don't like to see myself fail. I'm still debating on upping the challenge to 200, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I'm currently at 149 of the 175 books I have challenged myself to read. We'll see how it goes. What are your thoughts? Do you think I should up my challenge?
What about you? What challenges are you participating in? I would love some challenge recommendations for 2012!
