Flawless (PLL #2) by Sara Shepard

Publication Date: 3/01/2008
Publisher: Harper Teen
Pages: 330
Format: Paperback
Source: Library

Goodreads Summary:
Spencer stole her sister's boyfriend. Aria is brokenhearted over her English teacher. Emily likes her new friend Maya . . . as much more than a friend. Hanna's obsession with looking flawless is making her sick. And their most horrible secret yet is so scandalous that the truth would ruin them forever.
And why shouldn't I tell? They deserve to lose it all. With every crumpled note, wicked IM, and vindictive text message I send, I'll be taking these pretty little liars down. Trust me, I've got enough dirt to bury them alive.

Spencer, Aria, Emily and Hanna have a lot on their minds.  "A" is threatening to tell everyone their secrets.  Secrets that only Alison could possibly know.  To make matters worse, Alison has been found dead so she can't possibly be "A".  Now these girls are brought back together again to figure out who "A" is and what he/she wants.  This mysterious person has threatened to tell their secrets and blame them for "The Jenna Thing".

This sticky situation gets stickier when Jenna's brother, Toby Cavanaugh returns to this sunshine town of Rosewood.  These girls don't feel like they can trust each other to confide when "A" contacts them, but if they don't trust each other...who is there to help them?  The secrets these girls have are typical of those that many teenagers have.  Unfortunately, it is these secrets that could eventually bury these girls alive.

This series just keeps getting better and better.  I don't even know what to say!  These girls have the most interesting secrets...who wouldn't want to know about them?  The suspense in this novel kept me going until the very end.  I couldn't put this book down.  The writing is fabulous, and keeps you coming back for more.  Just when you think you know what is going to happen there is a twist that makes you start all over from the beginning.  I can understand why this series was made into a TV show.  It has the right components for success!
