In My Mailbox (4)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren that I decided to partake in.  This is my 4th week participating and I have had such an amazing time discovering new books!

This week at the library I didn't really get YA books, but here is my list:
1. Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris - I've been on the wait list at the library forever!
2. The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck - Radcliffe's Rival 100 Best Novel List
3.  The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger  - Radcliffe's Rival 100 Best Novel List, my goal is to read all of the books on this list at some point in time.

Okay...on to the exciting part of this week's post.  If you read my post, A Book Blogger's Dream!, then you know exactly what I'm going to talk about next.  netGalley.  The best website I've heard of in a long time.  This website allows book reviewers to request e-books of recently released or ARC novels.  Here are the amazing books I received this week:

1. Striking Back by Mark Nykanen - 5/10/2011

2. The Beginning of After by Jennifer Castle - 9/6/2011

3. Black, White, Other by Joan Steinau Lester - 8/16/2011

4. Speaking Out: LGBTQ Youth Stand Up by Steve Berman - 9/20/2011

5. Migrant Mother by Don Nardo - 1/28/2011

6. Little Rock Girl 1957 by Shelley Marie Tougas - 8/1/2011

7. Misfit by Jon Skovron - 8/1/2011

If you haven't check out netGalley yet, I seriously suggest you check it out soon.  I'm so excited to get started on these amazing sounding books! :)

What did you get in your mailbox this week?!

Thanks everyone! I'll check out all the IMM when I get a chance. I can't wait to start reading the books from netGalley. They have so many amazing ones, but I have to admit it's kind of sad when you don't get approved for one! :)
