Between Here and Forever by Elizabeth Scott
Abby accepted that she can’t measure up to her beautiful, magnetic sister Tess a long time ago, and knows exactly what she is: Second best. Invisible.
Until the accident.
Now Tess is in a coma, and Abby’s life is on hold. It may have been hard living with Tess, but it's nothing compared to living without her.
She's got a plan to bring Tess back though, involving the gorgeous and mysterious Eli, but then Abby learns something about Tess, something that was always there, but that she’d never seen.
Abby is about to find out that truth isn't always what you think it is, and that life holds more than she ever thought it could...
It's sad that Abby must go through this horrible experience with her sister to find out who she is and where she wants to be. Abby is an amazing young woman, but she feels as though she is left in the shadows of her sister. She feels as though Tess is the perfect child who everyone loves, the boys all want, and never does anything wrong. Then a horrible accident happens to Tess. She is now in a coma and Abby visits her everyday in hopes that she will finally wake up. It is through these visits that Abby is able to find out who she is and how much she can mean to other people. She also finds out that Tess may not have been as perfect and truthful as she originally thought. This would be a great summer beach read...If only there was some sun in my area!
